Djarum cigarettes are made from a mixture of tobacco, ground cloves, clove oil and other additives. Djarum is a famous brand of Indonesian clove cigarettes manufactured in 1951 by Oei Wie Gwan in Kudus, Central Java. What makes them special is the addition of cloves to tobacco which disguises the harshness of regular cigarette smoke and quickens the respiratory system to inhale deeper during smoking process.
